Changes to Committee Membership
Ian Witt recently informed the Committee of his intention to step down as a committee member.
We would like to acknowledge Ian’s exceptional contribution as a key member of the Crokinole UK Committee, and initiator of the UK Crokinole Championship. As one of the founding members, Ian’s vision, dedication, and commitment have been instrumental in shaping the committee’s work and advancing the growth of Crokinole in the UK. Ian’s contributions helped to lay a strong foundation that will continue to benefit our community for years to come. His pedantry is also the stuff of legend.
Ian leaves the Committee with our gratitude for his contributions and best wishes for the future. We look forward to sitting across the board from him at future events.
As one chapter closes, another opens. In line with our constitution the Committee invited Helen Temby to join until the end of the season, an invitation we are delighted she accepted. I hope you will join us in thanking Ian and welcoming Helen.
