The AireCon Crokinole Classic – Proudly Sponsored by Meeplewood!
It’s a little over two weeks until the UK’s longest running Crokinole event takes place again at AireCon in Harrogate. This year’s event is on track to be bigger and (hopefully) better than last year, when Mike Ray produced a stunning comeback to take the title.
There’s space for up to 64 players, and assuming we hit capacity the format will be 8 groups of 8 players for the initial round robin. The top 4 from each group will then go through to the knock-out phase until we reach the grand final.
We’re delighted to announce that Meeplewood will be donating one of their first batch of Crokinole boards for a prize draw at the event. So, if you have a ticket for the tournament then you are in with a chance of winning your very own Crokinole board.
Meeplewood have been making gaming tables for a while and, following requests from their customers, are now turning their talents to Crokinole boards.
